I installed the game and did everything as instructed properly(pretty confident of myself since this is not my first time doing it) and when i run the game the opening comes in and title screen pop's up then when i pushed 'new game'. Run time error comes in and messes things up. Well when i read the patch notes there is a problem when using applocale saying that the fonts don't work out so i used the japanese pack on my windows 7 then when i ran the game, i says version error:400, or something similar. I was and still am interested in playing this game and was wondering if there is anyway to solve this?

Have you install any codec pack? If yes, uninstall them, then install the Mega Codec Pack. If no, do it anyway.

The game use video codecs of rare forms, so a lite version of CP wont help. And I think the most problem related to CTD is from codec.

Well i don't know if i did or not but could you tell me what's CP and CTD, i'm kinda at a loss here...
And if anyone could, please tell me step by step on how to install this, my head hurts right now...
Update: Installed the Mega Codec Pack v7.7, still didn't work.
It keeps saying "run time error, forced to shut down application in an unusual way"

Uhhh, what directory did you put it under in step 7? because I don't really don't know where else to put it.

You can make a directory to put it in, or just make your C:\ drive the directory when it asks for a directory. If you just make C:\ or any drive the place for installation it will automatically make a directory.
