Post I have a problem during the installation of Kamidori
Hey guys, i'm new in this forum so i don't really know if I need to introduce me. If i have to i'm sorry that i jumped to this. :P
I have a problem with installing Kamidori, I have switched my locale to japanese but when the installation is about 75% an error occours, i don't know what is saying but it regads the file "DATA3.alf", if I ignore the error it occours another one regarding this time the file "DATA4.alf" and it's the same for the other files .alf apart from the one and two.

I've run the installation on a portable pc with Windows XP on it, dunno what are the requirements for the game, i've searched for them but i've never found them.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

Don't think I can help much but ...........
Firstly, I can't read Japanese so I have no idea what the error is saying.

From your description of the problem, maybe you have a problem with your disc.
Try to copy the .ALF files manually to a temporary location on your HDD to see if you get an IO Error.
If you do, you've got a faulty DVD.

Doesn't sound like a regional thing because you've gone part way through the install.
I'm also using Windows XP.
My default region/language for Windows XP is "English (Australia)".
The only thing I need to do to Install and Play Kamidori is:
1). Control Panel, Regional And Language Options, Languages Tab ---- Install files for East Asian languages
2). Control Panel, Regional And Language Options, Advanced Tab ---- Set Language for non-Unicode programs = Japanese

The non-Unicode option does change the \ (backslash) into a ¥ (Yen), but I haven't noticed much else.

I don't think the requirements specs are much.
I'm using a 3 year old AMD Athlon QL-65 laptop with 4GB RAM and it runs fine.
