it seems that Wil got high stats growth, but strangely not in my case. My Wil keep getting only hp growth (+2) at most, while almost ignoring every other stats.
I wonder if this is how it suppose to be, or is there something strange with Wil growth.

In opposite to that, character that supposedly said to have low stats growth (Ex.Suina), keep getting +1 to many other stats (especially offensive), making them considerably much more powerful than Wil. (Exception: Aht, she still has low stats growth)

Currently I'm in about lvl 30, while having characters like Melodiana, Suina, Sharty, Uya are far2 more useful than Wil.
I had also tried "save, skip, lvl up", but still, str stats growth seems to be very2 rare for Wil.

So how is stats growth calculated, and is Wil actually a late game character with a really bad early growth?

every turn your char has a randomized amount of stats grow in case of level up.
it may be that you were unlucky. But, for me Wil was always more like a tank (with his cover skill) then a damage dealer (until I used like 30-50 mars stones on him and gave him a rank S/M weapon).
Also Wil is useful due to etherall and adventurer and double action/swift skills.

Wil got tank stats for me until NG+ > transmigration and all that. During my first game he was a lousy damage dealer, but he could take a beating.
