 Score Attack/Sim Mode
I'm not entirely sure if I know the full extent of how Score Attack works. You obviously get points for killing enemy ships, but is that the only criterion? Do you lose points for losing ships? Is there a theoretical maximum from always destroying all enemy ships and never losing one yourself?
Also, has anyone figured out the controls in Sim Mode? QWEASD change the orientation of your craft and LMB fires weapons, but I'm not sure what RMB does and more importantly, how to increase speed from zero. Also, while LMB fired the normal guns, I'm not sure how to fire missiles and things. Lastly, do you only receive credit for ships you destroy in this mode?

We could always compete for high scores:
This is what I got after trying to get a run where I always annihilated the enemy and didn't lose any ships...except that I did lose one in the final minutes of the last battle. Naturally, it's a ship I had never lost the 6+ times I had played the last battle.
I'm kind of sick of it now.

This is a late reply, but just for overall clarification:
Your high score only counts the kills and point totals of the Angel wing. This means that any kills allied forces or the Elsior manage to get does not count.
I'm not sure if I know the maximum but the highest I ever get with killing all enemies along with no kills on elsior or by allies is 212 (no deaths of course).
Note that in certain levels enemy reinforcements will arrive if you do not finish the battle quickly enough.
Any ship that dies in battle will have it's score displayed at the end of the battle, but everything there will not count towards your total.

Apparently the hongfire thread is down, and I couldn't find the controls anywhere else, so I'm going to post them here.
Camera Rotation: Mouse Ship Rotation: W (up), A (left), S (down), D (right), Q (roll left), E (roll right) Throttle: Left Shift (increase speed), Left Ctrl (decrease speed) Standard Weapons: Left Mouse Button Guided Weapons: Right Mouse Button i.e. missiles Reset Camera: V Turn Ship Toward Camera: R Target Lock: X (center of camera), PgDown (cycle from farthest), PgUp (cycle from closest) Final Attack: F i.e. Milfie's Hyper Cannon, etc. Resupply: U Match Speed: Z Afterburner: Tab Autopilot: B Toggle Unit Markers: T marks all units vs just the current target
All weapons (standard and missiles) have a cooldown, which is displayed in the HUD. Standard weapons fire as close to the sight in the center of the camera as possible, within the limits of the weapon's firing cone (displayed as a white circle in front of the ship). Missiles require a target, and can only be fired within a certain range (I think it's about 1500-3000 for Milfie's pink missiles, for example). One of three bars around the sights will turn yellow when a missile weapon is within range and ready to fire. If the bar is green, it may mean that you are too close (inside the missile's minimum range), or that the missile is on cooldown.
Note that even though it's not listed here, the Pause key (P by default) and the Field View key (C by default) still works in this mode. Additionally, you can still have Tact issue orders to any ship except your own, by means of the icons on the left (or their shortcut keys).
