 Villains
Did anybody else think that Moonlit Lovers was a bit short on villains?
It went from 9 villains in the first game to only 2. Rezom was amusing of course, but I missed the larger cast. I especially liked the Hell Hounds. I think they should have been kept alive for use as recurring villains before finally being defeated for good at the end of the trilogy.
Hopefully the 3rd game has a bit of a larger cast than Moonlit Lovers.

 Re: Villains
You liked the Hell Hounds? I never thought they were very funny and the attempt to make them foils for each Angel wasn't very effective. Anyway, you'd need a new Hound to match Chitose, and that'd come off as a bit silly, I think.
The larger plot of Moonlit Lovers was more about how little the heroes knew about what was really going on, and trying to rectify that. That was interesting enough, I suppose, though I still think after playing the whole trilogy I'll look back on this one as the stereotypical middle chapter; transitions and developments, but no climaxes or pay-offs.

Well I admit Riserva and Red were fairly dull. I found Vermouth amusing and also Guinness and the way he yelled everything he said. In the case of Camus it was Milfie's reactions to him that I found amusing rather than Camus himself. I especially enjoyed when he revealed the contents of her essay.

 Re: Villains
ah, but i didn't, perhaps I haven't played moonlit lovers yet, and am sorry that rezoms returned. I don't pay attention to the villains anyway, they bore me until I want a super indepth game play experience, so i didn't recognize Rezom (even then I don't like him, so i was expressing distress at his return)

 Re: Villains
It's good to know there's still some appreciation for the Hell Hounds out there. Unfortunately, the idea of having a team of Emblem Frame pilots as enemies will not repeat itself again. And regarding the number of villains... Personally, none of the bad guys from the subsequent games strikes me as interesting as the ones from the very first one.
