Hi all,

Sorry to be a bother, but right after installing moonlit lovers, and trying to run the game I seem to come across this error message: http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/8783/whatzs.jpg

Any ideas as to what I could do to get around it?

I ran the installation with my system locale under Japanese, so I don't have any issues with installing. I get this error message when running the game with:
1. ONLY moonlit lovers installed
2. moonlit lovers and the chitose add-on installed
3. moonlit lovers, the chitose add-on, and the patch installed.

no clue, i dont speak japanese...but is your video card somehow unable to handle this game (not sure how thats possible, unless you have like the first computer ever, but still, that usually causes instant crashing)

I'm not entirely sure. I have an 8600 GT GPU, if that helps. My drivers are up to date as well.

Operating System: Windows 7 32-bit
UAC - Off - I think. Through msconfig, I launched UAC settings and had the settings at "Never notify"
Do you have permission to do administrative stuff - Yes.

If any other info will help, please do ask.

Well I haven't the damnedest idea then. I certainly wouldn't think a 32-bit operating system would be the contributing factor to erroring out on start up.

Unfortunately my tech support kind of ends there. I do not have 7, nor do I have a 32-bit operating system to diagnose these things myself.

It says something like "video device" I think. ( I can only read kana...)

Thanks for all the help! I appreciate it. It seems that this was a GPU issue. I had the exact same error trying to run moonlit lovers on my laptop. I updated the onboard GPU's drivers and now it works just fine! For whatever reason, it will not work on my desktop, which has an 8600 GT.

For those with similar problems, here is some possibly helpful information:

Desktop (Game did not run on this system):
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
System Locale: Japanese
GPU: 8600 GT (Drivers Updated)

Laptop(Game ran fine on this system):
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
System Locale: Japanese
GPU: Raedon X1400 (Drivers updated)

Thank goodness for that.
