i believe chitoste's habit in this game of messing up your relationship, inadvertantly, may actually be some lingering bizzaro luck from milfue...which would explain why hers is the only route in which it isn't messed up by chitoste...instead she gets amnesia...and chitoste's route...duh...its kind of hard to mess up your own relationship via random chance

Plot-wise, Milfie already got her own problem to deal with, so Chitose messing up with their relationship wasn't necessary. That and Milfie is so thickheaded she probably didn't even think about that possibility.

true, but in her route, she sprayed the elsior full of it at the end of the first game...so maybe some lingered around?...and it still seems pretty unlucky to lose all your memory

You're getting two games mixed up.

Milfeulle loses her memory in the third game, Eternal Lovers, not Moonlit Lovers.

It's Moonlit Lovers where Milfeulle's relationship can't get messed up by Chitose.

One more thing I want to ask...

This might be off-topic, but;

If you played the first game, you will see that the moment Elsior is going to shoot the Black Moon with Chrono Break Cannon, Elsior was attacked by a fatal hit from Black Moon, making it cannot move, and almost losing energy to charge the cannon.

But suddenly, the Angel that chosen by Tact saved the Elsior, in many ways, depends on the Angel itself...and they successfully destroyed the Black Moon.

The question:

What happens if Tact didn't get any of the Angel?

It's a path that must be taken to have a relationship with Chitose. (Moonlit Lovers)
But instead of telling us the story how the Black Moon was destroyed, the game displayed Chitose's past.

Tact ended up traveling the frontier with Lester, with a cruiser...but when they return to Elsior, it wasn't damaged badly.
I know 6 months can be used up for repairs on Elsior but there are none of the Angel helps Tact to charge the cannon, then maybe the Elsior could ended up destroyed with the second blow from Black Moon...

wrong you DO still get an angel, they just have to dump you

It's possible to not get an angel, however it requires one of two things, hacks, or some serious glitch work

I'm pretty sure its impossible, they only get really mad.
