Hi, I am about to start (when my free time permits it) a porting effort to bring the GA games to mobile. The game engine framework I would like to use is the minimal build (without physics engines..the Box2D and Chipmunk..not really needed for the game) of cocos2dx (http://www.cocos2d-x.org) in order to assure cross platform compatibility. Personally, the hard point of the port is to keep faithfully the balance of ships, relations ecc. (imho however the original game is quite unbalanced) My personal phone is the Samsung Wave S8500 so I'll post some video using that phone when the game will progress. Thanks to the posted Aroduc tools, I could gather easily game resource...for the remaining, I'll use TexMod and agth... Ps. I am full time worker so my time for this project is really...restricted but I hope that bit a bit I'll get a working port |
