Better idea than yours.

not an idea for a game though.

The only issue regarding that is the fact that you'll need a coder, script-writer, artist, etc in order to formulate a team to make even a simple fan-fiction game. Unless you can speak Japanese (or grab a translator) and can contact Broccolli without them claiming you are a stalker, etc. Then grab enough money to persuade them to give ownership of Galaxy Angel to you, then things will turn for the better.

Both options are lengthy with a random stroke of luck for it to work out.

Exactly. But we also have perserverance on our side.

If they did/do make a GA3 they should have a commander like Bang Shishigami. Any man that......amazingly manly that he has his own theme OBVIOUSLY deserves to command the Angels.

Just face the fact that GA just need "loveable loser" men for their male character sets.
Aside from that, why would a bare-handed fighter like him engages in a space ship battles?

For starters, Bang DEMANDS respect and awe from all who follow him!
For another, we all know Bang can easily survive in space AND THROW STARSHIPS!!
And lastly, I said LIKE BANG, none could ever be equal to the hero of heroes, all are inferior when compared to the hero of love and justice, Bang Shishigami!!

I'll leave this to you.

No, I'm not, never been a big fan of fighting games, especially the unrealistic ones.

Seeing the description of Bang you've mentioned, he will never have the loveable loser version of himself.

Thats the idea!
Do away with the loveable loser archetype.
Bring about a new era of Bishoujo heroes! Real men, not these women in mens clothing.

Actually, you need someone who can stealth. Why should evil always have the first strike against goods? This time, it is the heroes' turn to strike first and maybe get some enemy hostages.

Wanna prevent an other emblem frame hijack? Get a spy.

One problem... Bang is too old. (he is 27, I think)

A fully-muscled guy who almost never makes mistakes would attract less people than a lovable loser who makes a lot of mistakes. This is how anime works.

I appreciate your revolutionary idea, but you're turning GA to a some kind of game genre where the player is being lead to a situation where he must be pretty pissed off because of jealousy, seeing that his (Virtual) bride has taken away by someone much more "attractive" than himself. And I'm pretty sure we don't want that.

You've never played BB then.
Bang is COMPLETELY clueless except in combat, the girl he loves has no interest in him BECAUSE he has no clue.
Bang;Fucking amazing fighter, completely clueless romantic.

It'd make for one heck of a game though, more based around getting the girl to ACTUALLY like you.
Plus, we'd have a character that will fight evil as a commander.......
BANG, I WILL FOLLOW YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!!!!!

Its kind of hard to have good get the first strike, since good people don't go about attacking without due cause...generally to know someone is evil they have to, ya know, do something evil...

That depends. If the good person knows that a certain person is evil, he can go sneak up against this evil guy. Lawful good and Neutral good people wouldn't do sneak attacks, but chaotic good people wouldn't mind to sneak up against an evil person.

Really? Well Neutral people could be very versatile, they could act like lawful or chaotic beings, regardless of their good or bad nature, so stealth isn't really a problem for them.
But eh,

This is the good point, good people just can't throw random accusations without a good reasoning or a proof.

Really Lester, I find this quite amusing but you should really stop making him (looks) conforming the requirements of being a Bishoujo VN main character and letting himself loses his true self.

Yea, that is the biggest problem of trying to get a first strike as a good person. However, if you have someone to detect thoughts (such as Mint) or/and detect evil, it is less of a problem. In order for goods to sneak, they require more stuff than evil.
