 Re: The combat thread
I do believe they had cannons, but trebuches, catapults, and similar things would also count.

 Re: The combat thread
Well, you would be able to use stuff related to artillery as well as having knowledge about them. Oh, and a bard-mage of your stats would have: Hp = 6 (You might want to have more constitution. Wisdom is not very useful for a bard-mage) Mp = 5 Quote: it converts element based damage into hp. This is a bit hard to accept, as lots of enemies at later levels have element based damage, and it is hard for some to find an alternate way to dodge this. Is it permanent or is there a limit per day? (Limit of damage you can receive or limit of time)

(Standing on grass, wood, or anything that'll keep me from dirt or stone.)

 Re: The combat thread
Yup, cannons didn't exist in fact. Apparently, the first ones were used in 1260. (Me and my lack of artillery knowledge. I've rarely seen or used in action a heavy artillery weapon in d&d yet.)

These are dnd players we are talking about here, don't they USUALLY try to get stuff like that?...they would definitely be popular with munchkins though...

You're confusing FF players with D'n'D players.
