Because they probably won't bother, and we have the time and capacity for pointless tasks to do so. Please only post things relevant to the history of Anonymous, including their origin, places they got ideas from, and their activities, etc. Also post corrections to any incorrect data. Please do NOT start flamewars, insult each other, or troll...or you will have to deal with ME...I WILL INTERVENE, and whoever started crap will regret it. Other than that, have a nice day. |

On the date of __/__/____ 4chan was founded by Moot, and the anonymous was created. Later, on __/__/____ they broke off and founded their own site, where they conversed and decided to work together towords common goals. The organization is leaderless, and they tend to act for rule of funny, or since __/__/2008 they became hacktivists, along with other activities. More recently they have angered Sony on __/__/____ to the point where Sony blamed them for hacking them and potentially stealing the credit card info of thousands. Only months later did Sony tell the public, angering them at the delayed information. Anonymous responded by saying that "For once, we didn't do it.", but due to the amorphous nature of Anonymous, noone can really know for sure. However, due to their lack of reluctance in the past, it is heavily unlikely that they did, as they tend to take credit (as a collective whole, not as individuals) when they DO do things like this. However, it is possible that it was the work of one of them, but in all likelyhood not the organization itsself. On 08/1_/2011, Lester Killderros created a spin off organization called GAnonymous, on the site: games.seiha.org. |
