So, it's too big to fit in your lab, and would require an army of engineers and construction workers at your disposal to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time, and the full blueprints for the entire thing, as its too big to examine and look for means of assimilation/improvement, within a reasonable amount of time, and without risk of potentially screwing something else up, that might have been missed or forgotten during your analysis, since its very difficult to fully examine a space station the size of a moon?
