Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
That magic shatterer, it creates an anti-magic field. NO TELEPORT FOR YOU. *Watches the fireworks, by teleporting away using SCIENCE* thus proving science is better than magic.

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
Initiate of Mystra
Benefits: You can attempt to cast spells even within a dead magic zone or an antimagic field. In a dead magic zone, you must make a succesful caster level check against a DC equal to 20 + the level of the spell you are trying to cast. In an antimagic field, you must make a succesful caster level check against a DC of 11 + the caster level of the antimagic field. If this check is successful, the spell functions normally.
( It never specifies from which sources, so it would be any kind of anti-magic field)

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
Ars isn't necessarily measurable, it'd be a matter of Luck rather than skill, and chances are your timing won't be enough.

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
Nukes takes longer to use than a simple teleport though.
(What is Ars?)

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
Chances are, however, that you will not luck out, and will be stuck inside the the Ars anti-magic field for a while, and the nuke will hit you, or the general vicinity.

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
Strong mages don't need luck to get out of an anti-magic field.

And while you argue, the nuke gets closer. SCIENCE IS BETTER than magic, so Luck therefore can be predicted, and I predict, your luck has just run out, Vayne *Nuke hits*

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
I already teleported while we were arguing. Using silent image and far voice, it is easy to trick someone into thinking i'm still here. (Vayne)

I could always teleport back, but it would be stupid because of the radiation. (Vayne)

Re: If you had to pilot an emblem frame...
And the nukes fallout ill inevitably cover a huge section of ground, me, I'm safe in the Sector Seven labs, on the edge of the boundary, where I will develop new, more efficient ways of destroying Seithr, and Magic in general.

Destroying magic would be almost impossible, since you would need to destroy yourself and everyone. (Vayne)

No, the science that dictates magic can remain, humans and.......whatever you are...... shouldn't be able to exploit it.

(Not a spellsword either. A pure mage with an advantage of having better knowledge of melee combat at the cost of a few flaws.)
