Since the other threads are doomed to become retarded again in the near future, I figure, it's apropos to open a thread just to discuss the storyline, characters and how we'll get the word out, without relying purely on advertising through sites like Desura and IndieDB.

0. Obviously me, I'd be the main story writer (However, it's more of a collab, I'm an Ideas man, though they tend to run into the inane, and insane)
1. Too many copy right risks playing with either of the original angel troupes, not to mention, the Moon Wing have no Emblem Frames or the El Ciel anymore, because the Val Fasq are retards. Chances are safest with an original cast of characters, rather than recycling well known characters and accidentally butchering their personality.
2. It could fit in two places, either in the small gap in space between moon and rune, OR, post the rune storyline, which, although far more daunting, provides more room to play with character development, and design.
3. The most basic outline for the idea I'm rolling with, is this "A new Angel troupe (I'm playing with the name on this one, soul seems the most fun. It's similar sound to Sol means it can make use of the previous angels tendency toward celestial bodies, while soul shares the mystical element that both Moon and Rune had.) beyond a new 'shrine/gate' on a diplomatic and exploration mission to meet and befriend the natives, while discovering what threats may lie beyond." Obviously there'll be some token evil (Whether he's Eonia style evil (peace through power) or Moonlit and Eternal Lovers Val Fasq evil (Imma fuck this species UP) remains to be seen) that the new angels have to face, as well as their own personal demons that make their bond with their commander (I dislike Kazuya immensely, he's insipid, my idea for a commander is closer to the somewhat rude, dopey, but strong willed and driven tact) such strong and much good. It's basic, but why mess with what works?

Since no start has been made on making the game, chances are you and T.O.M. are gonna have ideas for characters and events bounced off you.

Name: Daisuke
Personality: Laid back and carefree, with a serious streak relating to work AND romance. Tends to blow away the perceived norm by being an "unusual specimen", and exaggerates a large number of odd figures. Loves carrots. Powered by GAR.

Name: E(Emotional)-V(Variance)-E(Entity)
Personality: A humanoid robot, made to have human emotions, to replace and eventually remove the risk of the human element in any and all angel brigades. The first and only successful model, and considered dangerously close to being a liability due to her increasingly human like personality and identity crises. Powered by a Chrono-string, believed to be the cause of her increasingly human self-awareness.

Essentially just another timeline version of the Angel Commander, only crazy, and an asshole, and meant to be some big symbolic sack of shit about how humanities greatest foe is himself. Actually only exists because you can have so much fun playing with doppleganger characters. Also Powered by GAR. Only Physical Difference to Daisuke is in skin tone and eye colour.

I had a good last name picked out for her, but her first name is Momoko. Because peaches.
Personality: Fun, outgoing, LOUD, somewhat annoying. The youngest member of the Brigade, comes from a Yanki girl gang, so she has issues with authority figures and men in general. Constantly refers to Daisuke as "Douchebag-heichou", because that isn't his name, or rank. She is also a closet super-hero enthusiast.

Name: The "lord of secrets", Roy Wolfgang
Personality: Smarmy, arrogant, and self righteous, as a personal security mechanism, both a telepath and an empath, and well aware of his gifts too. A suspicious, and somewhat slimy man when first met, later reveals a caring heart, strong soul, and desire to do right by his crew members and commanding officer, especially if they are in danger. A closet shipping enthusiast, and prone to giving the Commander advice on how best to get on an angels good side.

MOE BLOB TIME

NAME: I forgot.
HOWEVER.
Personality: An adorable, and unlucky, magic user. MOE flowing out of all orifices except her magic ones, this character is clumsy, sweet and kind hearted, and a bit of a ditz, but magically gifted, unfortunately for her though, she can't use normal magic, only necromancy, which gets her shunned by EVERYONE. As a result, she suffers from very serious underlying depression issues.
