Not as good as 1 but still enjoyable.

Things BB1 did better:
Can see enemies on map
Can capture more enemies
Less grind
Less random mazes

I did really enjoy that Darx impregnated pretty much everyone in the world and was working on 2nd babies with the girls from the first game. Here is a SPOILER album of his kids growing up together even after he's gone.

I do agree BB1 was considerably less grindy. BB2's bosses were pretty annoying without grinding some levels. And there are "captures" still on some enemy types, where you fight a unique enemy and get to hire that enemy type (and sometimes get a unique ally), although I do agree BB1 had more. I much prefer this system over "kill a billion enemies with Darx doing the final hit: tbh.

And that first image IS from BB2. The others are BB3 (except the last one, which is from a related game, but it isn't a direct sequel, per se).

This game did some things better, and some things worse. All in all, I prefer BB1's story a bit more. I don't like how in 2, there's all this carnage and Darx is just really angry at them for attacking civilians, and in the end it's just like he's not really angry anymore for some reason. He SAYS he's angry, but it's pretty obvious he's mostly forgiven the attack.

I do agree that it's pretty funny that Darx had ended up impregnating (or at least fucking) almost every single named female, with I think the exception of Kozelotte (for now). And even she had a fake scene. AND named females aside, he even ended up fucking a ton of non-named females on and off-screen.
