Virtual Machine?

 Virtual Machine?So, I'm using Windows 8 (which the game doesn't work on), and I've seen success stories people have had by using a Virtual Machine to get the game going. I'm currently using Virtualbox with Windows XP, but for some reason, when I click on the game, I get just a black screen and nothing else at all. Can anyone who's familiar with these things help me out, or even give me the settings you use for your Virtual Machine so I can see if maybe that's the problem?

Just follow that guide. He's doing it on ubuntu, but same concepts apply to windows 8. |
