After executing the EXE my screen starts to say "no support" although I can hear the opening going on in the background and the noises of the start menu after the video is finished.

I'm using JP unicode settings and I have tried running in the three resolutions my screen offers (800X600 1024X768 1360X768) the odd part is, it runs fine on my laptop! I've also fooled around with the compatibility settings and tried to run it in all of those modes.

Try 16 bit color mode.

And Alt+Enter to switch to windowed mode.

That is in personalize-->display settings and colors to medium right?

Something like that, yeah.

Nope, same ol' blackscreen that did nothing.

another little tad bit of info. I can't alt+tab/ ctrl+alt+del to get out of the blackscreen, it doesn't want me to get off that screen.

Edit: just for clarification, I had to turn off power to my computer to get off it.
