Ok, So pretty much what happens is I'll get the game installed, however whether I patch it or not, it always crashes after the "Eushully" logo appears, it never plays the OP Movie or anything just Stops Responding it closes, Anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry, I'm not 100% on how to do this, Any other Japanese game has worked on my laptop before, How would I fix my codec? |

On my laptop it work, and I think it's thanks to ffdshow filters pack,but since the icon don't appear while the movie is played (and I couldn't force it, though I tried to know what codec it is), I'm not sure. If that's it, a codec/codec pack/filter pack may fix it. I haven't installed anything else according to Add/Remove programs (no xvid install on this computer). The only other possibility would be the nvidia graphic card driver (maybe it installed some support for a codec, I don't know if that's possible). Finally, could be a resolution problem (I think I met games like that, that would have trouble playing movies in another resolution in fullscreen). |

Is this the problem you're having and does it help? If the game-task stops responding just before starting the intro video and crashes. Then when you start again it pops up with the config screen. Chances are that you're using the same PC for watching Anime?? If you have LAV-Splitter installed, it is one cause of this. Go to the LAV-Splitter Settings (LAV Filters menu from the Start menu) Click on the Input Formats tab at the top. Disable 'mpeg' under input formats. The game should work without problems after that. |
