I really hope someone can help me here with this - The crimson Aegis quest doesn't activate for me after writting back to Roka 2 times no matter what I do. I tried playing two second NG+ game (that means one NG+ game was finished and that event didn't activate there as well) for Yuela and Emilita (here every possible bonus was switched on) route. On that second NG+ game I just skipped as quickly as possible to chapter 6 (where quest 110 should activate). I tried finishing the shipwreck quest on chapters 3,5,6 but still the crimson aegis quest just doesn't activate and I even have no idea how to aquire it (I suspect that I'll see wil's icon on the workshop for a third time but it never comes or anywhere). I believe that this is somekind of a bug but I have no idea how to fix it. In short I'm stumped. Can someone help me please (bow) ?

I just checked using my saves.
I had completed the Shipwreck coast in Chapter 5 and written back to Roka twice.
Using this save, I progressed to Chapter 6 which is the requirement for Quest 110.
I cleared all of the events in town. (6 or 7 events)
Left town and got an Elizasleyn event. (returns back to town)
Left town again, declined combat (dragon hunting) and went to world map.
Went straight back to town without any combat. (some events don't trigger until after you leave town.)
There was a Roka event at home which triggered Quest 110.
The Crimson Aegis is a Key item crafted in the Workshop.

I have never had any trouble getting the quest to trigger.
The only requirements I know of are Quest 109 clear and Chapter 6. (fails at Chapter 9)

From what you say, I don't know if this will help or not.
Completing Quest 110 give you some money and 3 image galleries but that's all.

First send me a copy of your save (ch 5) and I'll check if it triggers on my install.
That should confirm if you have any corruption on your system.

I got the save file and loaded it up.
Did the Roka letter events.
As you say, I proceeded to chapter 6 and it didn't trigger Quest 110.
Just to be sure, I did the quests to add Crayanne and Eushully to the party although I don't think they were needed.
Still no Roka event.
I did however notice that the save you sent says it's Chapter 8 in the save list even though it's actually Chapter 5.
Did you modify the save file with SpoilerAl ?
Seems like maybe it's corrupted.

I may try to track down a save from my first NG+ game to see where/how I triggered these events.
Unless anyone else has some more info/suggestions.

Yes SpoilerAl is a trainer that modifys the save data.

I think I know the reason it said Chapter 8 instead of Chapter 5.
I copied the save file into the save directory ok but I think that Kamidori used the index file to find the save info.
The info was from a previous save in that position which would have been chapter 8.
That's my theory anyway.

Nothing to do with you, was the save position on my end.
The save file you sent is ok.

For those who have problems with this quest -> I discovered where the problem is (why it didn't trigger). Apparently every kamidori site with quest description which I visited had one requirement missing ! ! ! And that is: ' NG+, Ch6, Quest 109 Clear, must have written back to roka twice, if chapter 9 begins the quest will fail (and it won't trigger either)' AND Serawi's Ifrit Tunic MUST be Synthesized (created) ! ! ! I discovored that by lucky chance. I don't know why this is also a requirement and you are free to try to trigger the quest without it but you'll only crush your nerves Best of luck to all of you and thank you for the help.

Just a little additional info: Except Serawi's Ifrit Tunic - I also had Wil's Senior Alchemist's clothes (the 'Alchemy Clothing', Wil's second armor) and Serawi's Sprite Tunic. I couldn't diagnose whether the Crimson Aegis quest will trigger without them so be adviced - there is a chance that those two armors may also be a requirement for the quest to trigger (though I doubt it) ! Otherwise there are no other requirements than the ones shown in the Kamidori Alchemy Meister quest description sites + Serawi's Ifrit tunic.
