Resolved by last patch released.
I had the old one

last patch won't let me install... says it's already got the latest version... @.@

You talking about the textfix, right?

Same for me, it wont let me install the last patch either ( I downloaded it from the link you gave aswell ).

I then tried to install the textfix patch after the normal one didn't work, but it didn't change anything. ( or at least not this quest for me )

edit.: I tried the textfix patch again, this time the one on page 3 of that thread, and then it worked. I'll just leave this here in case anyone else has issues

it won't make the game crash if u use the textfix patch will it i use the 1.0 eng ptach and run fine.
