 Crafting Keys

Post Crafting Keys
After I craft my Bronze Key, the recipe disappears from the list. Am I only allowed 1 Bronze Key per run, and does this apply to other types of keys also? If so, what should I use it on before I screw up my game? :?

The keys remain on your inventory forever.
