The trolls are named the same in the translation.

Never farmed this particular material before so hopefully someone else has more details on how to make them spawn...

Monster Nest is the one that has the Trolls and Gutehounds right? Check the monster list I can't recall off the top of my head but i'm near positive you won't see "Cave Troll" listed.

They don't spawn in Monster Nest. Your sure fire bet is to get Troll's Lair unlocked. Get Crayl somewhere in his 30s and when he has some "family problems" the place will open up. Opens in Chapter 6 or 7 (probably 7) can't recall off the top of my head.

Tip #1: Don't listen to me lol

Just pulled it up to check and yes it does say "Cave Troll" and one even spawned in one of the corners. So it might be like a Treasure Putteto on that particular map. I remember I *had* actually run into one right after I posted /facepalm.

Regardless best area to farm them is Troll's Lair. You'll be up to your eyeballs in Red Giant Skins afterwards (it's worth it to get Troll's Lair unlocked anyways).
