I'm at chapter 1 and I did all there is to do, I got Aht and Suina but I don't know how to get promoted :\
It says I need to raise my workshop and store to level 2 but I don't know how..

click "remodel" [top right, can't miss it]
then click "expand XXX" [ you need the proper amount of S and materials]

Try reading the tutorials. They may contain super secret information on how to play the game.

I hate tutorials, rather just play the game and get stuck a bit sometimes then reading all of that.

Well the tutorial is divided up into parts, so you only have to read the exact information that you need. A lot faster than asking others for help when the answer is already provided in the game. Your choice though. ^_^

When you're in the shop, Wil has the same star above his head as your characters do when they have events. Just click on Wil and the "reviewing" as it's referred to in the game will pop up. You can then choose what you want to learn. the "Extensions" menu will tell you about upgrading/improving your shop.

You can always start a new game, speed through all the dialogue and check it out. Doubt that would take more than five minutes.

What about missions and fighting?

Well it was just an idea so you could have the tutorial at the ready. Just have it as a save and then continue on with the progress you're already at.
