 Questions about some Gameplay
I just got some questions about some things in the game
1) which route is the best to be played in terms of length, story and the epic ness of the final battle, this is ideally for when I have completed all 3 routes and go to start a new game with minimal new game + settings (mainly any setting that carries over stuff from my clear data like levels and money)
2) one of the options I saw when starting a new game talks about removing some upper limit that enemies have in maps, does this mean that if I enter one of the earliest maps with a character at Level 40 all the enemies will be scaled up, if so, will this also apply to the final boss
3) the option to add new 2.0 dungeons, what does it actually add, I had it active during my first play though but I can't really see those Free Maps being the 2.0 dungeons, does it only work in the new game +
4) the last (I think it's the last one) 1 against 5 battle in the arena, which character is best suited, I know Ragsmuena has got the best defense but she has no wind based attacks to deal some good damage to those tank-knight guys and I don't think she can kill all of them in time since they keep defending each other and everyone else dies too quickly, I know there has to be some way to beat it without having to rely on New Game + data since apart from Sharty's gauntlet battle I've beaten every other battle
5) am I right to assume that at one point there is going to be a H Scene involving Wil and Jane, if so, just what are the requirements
6) when I read the appendix in Eushully's room it says the expansion data includes Hanah's Pilgamige and Master Alchemy (I think it's called that), do these only become active in the New Game + and what are they exactly, my only guess is Hanah's is a series of quests while the Master Alchemy is new items I can make
Thanks in advance
EDIT:
Whoops, forgot one
7) can I still view the undressing scenes in a new game plus if I carry over the inventory, I'm kinda worried that if I do, because I have every clothes (but the new game + bonus clothes) it will be impossible to view it meaning that it'll be impossible to get the Serwavi Route unless I don't carry them over

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
Ok, well these are my thoughts.
1) Length of the story? According to my notes, Emilita has 8 extra maps, Serawi 11 (maybe a few more - still working on my 2nd run) and Yuela has 12 extra maps. Missions, Emilita has 6 specific ones, Serawi 9 and Yuela 2. Final Battle? dunno. One of my mistakes in NG+ was not carrying over my inventory because there's stuff that you really do want to have.
2) Haven't used this because most people say it just takes longer to kill the monsters because they're tougher. No extra experience for killing them.
3) Append 2.0 adds 40 extra quests and I think that was the 5 extra level 90 maps. NG+ was 33 quests and 29 maps.
4) Can't comment too much, don't remember. I think I used Wil with a lot of saving and experimenting with weapons.
5) Yep. You get some minor stuff when you finish the special and element sections of the arena I think. When you finish Wil's gauntlet battle you get the H scene.
6) You can get 16 characters in your party on the first run. NG+ brings it up to 27. The "Extra Stories" from the main menu brings it to 30. As mentioned in 3), NG+ adds 33 quests, mostly around getting extra characters. Meister is Wil rank 10 and then there's Magnus which is rank 11. These are NG+ only I think. (Well Magnus certainly is anyway). It's mainly weapon recipes when you get Meister rank.
7) Yes. You get the undressing scene for all characters regardless of what clothes you have. After you get onto a route in chapter 4, you get the clothing scenes for the route you're on. (I think the clothes have to be upgraded to a certain level to trigger the H-Scenes)

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
1) Last battle wise, Yuela's is the "hardest" since it takes a while until you reach the boss in the final map. Serawi's and Emelita's final maps can be done in 1-3 turns with NG chars (I killed Serawi's end boss in the 1st turn with a lv 85 Mylen Emelita's final boss is also close to the start).
2)Didn't use it, but it should make every monster stronger. Including the lv 90 dungeon ones.. and there's no way I could've done the extra stories in my 2nd game since the NG+ stories are difficult with lv 50 average in party
4) in my 1st play though I won though all Arena fights (except gauntlet since I never checked the arena in the last chapter) A lv 48+ Yuela with fully upgraded beat master armor, dodge path, nagua ninja blade, angel shield + some gems for armor passes though the solo arena with ease (though it did take some time since I had to wait a bunch of times for the enemies to attack and miss). 3rd play though, a lv 99 Emelita with double action and sonic scream OWNED the arena xD 1-4 turns for each battle (depending on how they were positioned).
5) Clear Wil gauntlet
6) You get a quest from Hannah to hunt "rare" orange putatos or what they are called and to escort her to clift church and Mishanshel church. I haven't completed that though.
7) When you meet the requirement to create an armor for an heroine. You will get the measurement scene for that heroine. And you get it for all of them in any NG+ (assuming you got it in the previous game or passed the requirements for it in this new game)

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
With number 1, I was talking about length in terms of how long it takes to beat the route, story in terms of how compelling the storyline is and how emotional it can be if your fully immersed and epic ness of the final boss in terms of how fun it is to fight it, for instance, if one route just has a final boss with only 1 phase while another as a final bos with 2 phases (Like in the Yuela Route), of cause I do like to have more maps to fight on cause that means more loot
@Ross: what do you mean there's stuff you want to have?, can't you get them again by reobtaining them or are there items that can only be obtained in certain routes
With number 2, I don't mind spending more time killing enemies, hell, might be better in some story maps when I've leveled up far beyond than what I really should be, since it sounds like no one uses it then I'll assume that if I am at like level 99, way beyond what the final boss, the final boss would be scaled up making the battle just as challenging
With number 3, @Ross: when I skipped to the point where I could get to the world map, apart from the woodland the maps I'm seeing are the 2.0 dungeons right? If so then how come I never saw them during my first play though, every map that I went to in my first play though had a story mission or character mission associated with it (like Forest of Souls had that mission to go with Cryal, the borderlands had that mission to rescue Cryalanne, that place that looks like a wasp hive had that mission to spend my last moments with Yuela)
With number 5, I read both answer, the same really but I cleared Wil's gauntlet and the scene was Jane showing up naked behind the certain then walking off, if the H scene was in that then I would have seen it then.......I still got that last battle in the 1 against 5 to do, I'm wondering, did anyway clear that battle before doing Wil's gauntlet
With number 7, I made all the clothes in my first play though, the option to carry the inventory into a new game will carry the clothing as well, the undress scenes I'm talking about is when Wil goes to get their measurements where you find out that Serawi is the least emapresed about her body but wears full underware and Yuela who is the most embarrass decided to take off even her underware to just wear that apron (don't bitch, you was the one who took off your underware, you could have left them on so any embarrassment you feel is self inflicted) which is triggered when you get the components to make one of their clothes, one of the requirements for Serawi's route is to view hers but if I have all her clothes already then her clothes won't appear in the list to be made which so this means the scene won't be triggered right?

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
1) is difficult to answer. I did Yuela, Serawi, Emilita, Yuela which took 103, 231, 176, 141 hrs respectively. The first Yuela only has half the maps because it's not NG+ so it should be quicker but I also screwed several quests. Also the more you play the better your characters are and the faster you can go. (I'm on 2nd Serawi now, chapter 5, 7hrs play so could be finished in say 30 hrs with everything done). A lot of people don't like Serawi's route as much because it's kind of a tree hugger path. Personally I liked them all in their own way.
There are definitely items that can only be obtained in certain routes. eg. Yuela get's a Disna sword after the final battle. I didn't import my inventory on my second play so didn't get it until I finished my 4th play. It's something you need to make her ultimate weapon.
3) Yep. Locations are Advent Bay, Mirage Forest, Phema Mountains, Phema Sluicegates & Valkyrie Falls. You really should be a high level before going there. I got completely annihilated when I first tried them. The Maps are NG+ only and require the Extra 2.0 dungeon option to be On when you start a game. These don't really have a story, you can use them to level your characters, if they can survive. Also, it's where you can get the Artifacts for the party members (Highly skilled unique character items)
5) You sure that was gauntlet you did? There are 4 sections to the arena (Normal, Special, Elemental, Gauntlet). Gauntlet opens at chapter 9.
7) Nope. Doesn't matter what clothes you have when you start (I have 26 total) you get the measurement scenes.
Also with zerovi's response, if you kill the final boss in the first turn you can miss out on some items. Better to fully explore the map first if you can.

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
Yep, it was the gauntlet, last page, there is one challenge for every character which their reward is unique to them, like I said, I have only 2 chalanges left in the arena, Sharty's Gauntlet cause she has no real power at level 30 unlike Cryal, Uya and Aht, intact despite the fact Cryal was level 30 all the enemies was easy because I justed needed to equip him with a powerful bow then sit outside attack range of any enemy and use snipe all the time, the other chalanges is like I already talked about the last 1-5 battle
When I completed the last challenge for the normal and element battles there was a scene where Jane showed up while Wil was showing, then when I completed Wil's gauntlet battle she showed up and Wil complained about something, I only know that she was naked because behind the curtain there was no green from your usual outfit while at the end it said Wil had to answer a bunch of questions from people who saw Jane walk out half naked
I'm wondering if you got that as the scene that plays after the final challenge of the 1-5 battles cause I completed all the elemental battles first cause it was easy to get one character into the middle then casters move to the top to attack from long range, then I completed the normal battles, the scenes did seem to escalate in terms of what they was hinting at

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
I think it's like you said and I got it after the elemental battles. I've always had all the other arena battles done before going to chapter 9 where the gauntlet's show up. Possible that the H-scene turns up as the 4th Jane one, just normally it's the gauntlet because you get that last.
I can see when I get to that stage on this run. Haven't done any arena yet.

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
I got another question, it came to me last night In chapter 1 I got access to quest 84 - entering new territory, I read the wiki at http://kamidori.seiha.org/index.php?title=Quests to make sure there are no notes about the quest that I have to take into consideration (one quest that requires you to have an item will not be completed unless you also have the hot springs placed), I can tell from the requirements for the next few quests that it has something to do with this Asmodeus, anyway, on the wiki the requirements to clear say Wilfred level 50, Recruit Aht, Suina, Crayl, Uya, and Melodiana The and to fail its Becomes impossible to recruit any of the above However during the scene at the manor the Guild Rep says that should something catastrophic happens the area will be locked down for safety reasons, now I'm wondering, can I fail this quest by just going though the storyline (ie reaching chapter 9 in the Yuela Route where war has broken out) or is it just apart of the story

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
From what I remember it won't fail by going to a chapter.
It can indirectly fail by going to a chapter though. eg. If you go to chapter 4 before recruiting Crayl (thus failing Quest 38 where he joins the party) In this case you've failed one of the conditions for quest 84 and hence "Becomes impossible to recruit any of the Characters" is true.
Just make sure you have Aht, Suina, Crayl, Uya, Melodiana, Crayanne, Kohakuren, Elizasleyn, Paraskevas, Gaptahl and Ragsmuena. Basically all of the standard characters from pre NG+. I don't think that Sharty was a requirement but .......... This allows you to complete the Asmodeus quests. Maybe just requiring a bit of leveling of Wil to trigger some events.

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
any new game+ are not part of the main story. So you can skip them without failing the main story.
And since you should have those allies by chapter 8(Aht, Suina, Crayl, Uya, and Melodiana ). Going to chapter 9 won't fail the quest either.

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
I have a question, when playing ng+ I see you are supposed to get Hannahs first H scene after you blow 80k at the church. Are there any other requirements to see it?
Im wondering if I turned off h scenes or something, I have been playing ng+ for a while now and am not seeing the scenes I already saw in my first play through. In particular no replay of the Sharty event after making the necklace comes to mind.

 Re: Questions about some Gameplay
I think the first Hannah scene is triggered by completing Quest 111 (Orange Jellies). To trigger it, that requires 5000 at the church and Melodiana/Hannah Events viewed. Also I think it requires Chapter 4 and the first heroine h-scene.
Quest 113 (80k at church) triggers her second h-scene. It can't be triggered until chapter 6.
