I'm about to finish my first playthrough of the game on Yuela route. I intend to play it a 2nd time with Emelita since I read her route is pretty good. I want to get/finish everything on the 2nd playthrough, but I remember reading before starting the game that you can only get some of the chars on 3rd+ playthroughs. I couldn't find where I read it after searching around so just wanted to confirm if this is true or not. Thanks

There are three characters from other Eushully games that show up with their own sidequests during NG+ games. After completing their quests for the first time, you can have them as Clone characters on your 3rd+ playthrough, i.e. they are just like Leguna, Lily and the Golem (meaning no events during the game for them).

You may get—as in unlock or achieve—every single character on your second playthrough. However, you cannot physically and permanently have some of those characters in your party until your third playthrough.

To clarify, there are two quest lines in your second playthrough which, upon successful completion, will unlock Roka, Evelyn, and Lyphia, and although you 'unlocked' them, they can only be a part of your party after selecting the "Inherit Characters" option on your NG+ options once you finish your second playthrough and start your third.

Scrolling down, looking at "Character join conditions", under "Gold Alchemy", you can see that Roka, Evelyn, and Lyphia all say at the very end "begin new game".

Thanks guys. I'm not really interested in having characters in my party just for the sake of having them, so I guess I can use my own save like I wanted. :0
