 Stuck on Chapter 6 (Pass the promotion exam!)

Post Stuck on Chapter 6 (Pass the promotion exam!)
I'm in the dungeon, but can't figure out the chest puzzle. The hints says:

--Choose the locations where people gather--
--Only the two chests for these locations should be open--

I don't get the hint, so I've just been trying every combination I can think of (leaving only 2 chests open). No luck yet...please help.
