i installed kamidori and i can play it when my system is in Japanese Unicode but when i use applocale it doesn't work. i is there anther software like applocale that will work? i have windows 7 home premium edition 64bits

I have yet to get the game to run outside of Japanese locale -- I don't mind running in Japanese locale anyway, as it changes very little. Some installations will occur in Japanese and remain that way even in US (or other English) locales though, so you will want to make sure you switch before running any installers.

Change fonts to "MS UI Gothic" (latin letters!). (or another one but not the MS Gothic in japanese letters)
Then you will be able to run it with applocale.
